What we do

Nine services, one method

Every service below runs on the same three steps: declutter, sort, optimize. What changes is the room, the constraints and who has to live with the result. Here is what each one actually covers and who it is for.

Service 01

Closet Organization

Reach-ins, walk-ins and shared primary closets

We empty the closet completely and sort by category rather than by owner, which is the only reliable way to see duplication. Then we rebuild the vertical space: double-hung rods where the garment lengths allow it, a full-length section for coats and dresses, folded pieces in bins at eye level, and the off-season rotation stored above in labelled containers. If two people share the closet, each gets a defined column so nothing has to be renegotiated every morning.

Who it is for. For anyone getting dressed out of a laundry basket, couples splitting one rod, or households where half the wardrobe is invisible because it lives behind the other half.

What the service includes

  • Full empty, category sort and donation triage
  • Vertical plan for rods, shelves and shoe storage
  • Off-season rotation moved into labelled bins
  • A defined zone per person in shared closets

Typically 4 to 8 hours

Service 02

Kitchen Organization

Cabinets, drawers and counters built around how you cook

Most kitchens that feel too small are laid out in the order things came out of the boxes. We rebuild yours around the three places work actually happens: the range, the sink and dishwasher, and wherever coffee gets made. Cookware moves to within one step of the stove, everyday dishes move beside the dishwasher, and drawer dividers are measured and cut only after the contents are decided, so they fit your real inventory rather than an ideal one.

Who it is for. For households where cooking one meal means crossing the room four times, where every drawer holds a little of everything, or where the counter has quietly become storage.

What the service includes

  • Zoning around range, sink and coffee
  • Cabinet and drawer contents relocated by frequency of use
  • Dividers measured to your actual utensil count
  • Counter appliances assessed on how often they are really used

Typically 6 to 12 hours

Service 03

Pantry Organization

Zoned by meal, decanted where it earns it, labelled to survive

Pantries organized by food group photograph beautifully and collapse by week five, because nobody shops or cooks by food group. We zone yours by occasion instead: weekday breakfast, school and work lunches, dinner staples, snacks and baking, each at the height that matches who reaches for it. Deep shelves get turntables and bin-drawers so the back row stops disappearing, and shelf-edge labels mean the system survives somebody else unpacking the groceries.

Who it is for. For families rebuying staples they already own, anyone with shelves deeper than they can see into, and parents who would like their children to be able to make their own breakfast.

What the service includes

  • Zoning by meal occasion rather than food category
  • Date check and expiry clear-out
  • Turntables and bin-drawers for deep shelving
  • Decanting of the staples that misbehave, with cook times labelled

Whole-Home Systems

Room by room, in the order you actually live

A multi-session project covering the whole house, worked in the order a household actually uses it: kitchen first, then bedrooms and closets, then shared living areas, then storage last, because you cannot know what needs storing until everything else has a home. In each room the question is the same, what happens here and what does that need within reach. We finish by documenting every zone on your shared board so the whole household knows where things live.

Who it is for. For families who have outgrown a patchwork of half-solutions, anyone who has just moved into more space than they had, and households where no two people agree on where anything goes.

What the service includes

  • A room-by-room plan agreed before we start
  • Sessions scheduled to fit around the household
  • Deliberate empty capacity kept in reserve
  • Every finished zone photographed and documented

Typically 25 to 40 hours across several sessions

Garage, Basement and Storage

Vertical walls, seasonal rotation, both bays back

Garages are rarely a storage problem. There is almost always unused wall, and the real work is triage: deciding on the volume before deciding on the shelving. Once that is done, everything goes vertical. Wall track carries long-handled tools and bikes, closed bins on shelving hold holiday decorations labelled by holiday, and paint and chemicals get a low cabinet well away from the water heater. Seasonal items are placed by season, so shovels sit at the front from November and swap with the beach gear in May.

Who it is for. For anyone parking in the driveway through a Long Island winter, households storing boxes from a move two houses ago, and basements where nothing can be found twice.

What the service includes

  • Full-floor category triage before any product is chosen
  • Wall track and shelving plan for vertical storage
  • Seasonal rotation set up for a twenty-minute swap twice a year
  • Safe, separated storage for paint and chemicals

Typically 12 to 18 hours, usually with a two-organizer team

Service 06

Home Office and Paper Management

An archive you can close and an intake you can keep up with

Paper is two problems, not one, and they need separating. The archive gets sorted against retention guidance, which usually frees an entire filing cabinet. Then we build the piece that was actually missing: a three-step intake for anything arriving, one tray for new post, one folder for what needs action this week, one drawer for what is finished and kept. Reference material that exists online anyway gets cleared rather than refiled, and we agree a fixed weekly slot so the system keeps running.

Who it is for. For anyone who has missed a payment sitting in a pile on their own desk, people working from home in a room that is also storage, and households holding a decade of paper they have never dared sort.

What the service includes

  • Archive review against retention guidance
  • Shredding and recycling sorted and staged
  • A three-step intake built for incoming post
  • A weekly review slot agreed with you

Service 07

Kids Rooms and Playrooms

Broad categories, low shelves, labels a pre-reader can follow

Playrooms fail when they are organized for an adult to maintain. We cut the categories back to roughly what the children can name themselves, usually five or six rather than fourteen, move every bin to the lowest two shelves, and label with a photograph of the contents alongside the word so a four year old can reset the room before they can read. We keep one bin deliberately empty, because a system with no slack breaks the first week of a new interest.

Who it is for. For parents who have organized the same room three times, households where cleanup is a nightly negotiation, and anyone whose bins are labelled perfectly and above child height.

What the service includes

  • Category count reduced to what the children can name
  • Everything relocated to reachable shelving
  • Photo labels for pre-readers
  • Outgrown items sorted with the children present

Typically 4 to 6 hours

Service 08

Moving, Unpacking and Downsizing

The cheapest moment to get this right is before you settle in

During a move nothing is where it is going to be yet, so nothing has to be undone. We unpack into systems rather than into whichever cabinet is nearest, room by room, in the order the household lives. Downsizing runs differently and more slowly: we measure the new home first, start with the high-volume low-emotion categories, decide the furniture before sorting what is inside it, and agree a real budget of space for sentimental items rather than pretending a handful will do.

Who it is for. For anyone moving within or to Long Island, families going from an apartment into a house with far more storage, and people leaving a long-held family home for something smaller.

What the service includes

  • Measured plan for the new home before decisions are made
  • Unpacking straight into a system, not into boxes twice
  • Duplicate and near-duplicate clearing pass
  • Donation, consignment and collection arranged locally

Typically 15 to 40 hours depending on the size of the home

Service 09

Bathroom, Linen and Laundry

Realistic counts, vertical space, surfaces that stay clear

These rooms are almost always volume problems rather than storage problems, and counting is what makes it land. Thirty-one towels for a household of three is not solved by better shelving. We set a working number with you, fold sheet sets into their own pillowcase so a set stays a set, and remove expired medication for proper disposal. Under-sink space broken up by plumbing gets stacking pull-out drawers rather than a fitted system, and each person gets a labelled caddy so nothing has to live on the vanity.

Who it is for. For families sharing one bathroom, anyone storing bulk paper goods on the floor for lack of anywhere else, and laundry rooms quietly doing three unrelated jobs at once.

What the service includes

  • A realistic linen count agreed together
  • Sheet sets folded into their own pillowcase
  • Pull-out drawers fitted around under-sink plumbing
  • A labelled personal caddy for each household member

Typically 4 to 6 hours
